Re+Vision: Design Your (Neighbor)hood is an innovative new program at the Seattle Art Museum designed to lead teens on an urban journey - to become design thinkers and change makers - in their own communities.
This six-week (June 30 - August 8, 2008) intensive public education program is structured around two major components. One is a studio project - a design problem - that teens will address individually. The second is a series of field trips and guest interactions. These experiences have been designed to inspire teens in their own design work as well as expose them to the diversity of professional art and design practices.
Final designs will be presented at the Olympic Sculpture Park on August 7, 2008, 6:00 - 8:00pm. The show will stay up through August 22, 2008.
